TIVERTON'S ANNUAL FINANCIAL TOWN MEETING IS SATURDAY @ 9am AT THS

Without a politically-driven Budget Committee or the huge loss of state aid we experienced last year, this year's Tiverton budget process has gone smoothly and produced something that exemplifies what CURB was created to support: a reasonable and responsible budget that balances maintaining vital services while minimizing tax increases.

Every Tiverton voter is encouraged to attend Saturday's Financial Town Meeting and vote for the town you want to see. The FTM docket and other information is available online at the town website, or at Town Hall. Don't allow someone else to decide your future because you weren't there to vote. At the end of the day, what matters most isn't how many people agree with a sensible plan for the town, but how many show up to vote for it.

Check back for more information here on the CURB-Tiverton blog over the next few days. You can also email to curbtiverton@cox.net to request regular CURB email updates or submit your own views for posting. And you can also join the conversation on the CURB-Tiverton page on Facebook.
